CORTEX
AI Data Processing

Anomaly detection, quarantine and model operations on the data flowing through the fabric — so bad records are isolated before they reach billing, assurance or analytics, and models keep improving on governed data.

Make AI production-grade

The pressureAI is moving into network, care and fraud decisions — and boards and regulators expect it to be governed.

Why it matters to an operator executiveModels are only as good as the data they run on. CORTEX keeps AI on clean, governed data, quarantines what is not and keeps a person in the loop — the difference between a pilot and an AI-native operator.

Business lens

From a business outcome to measured value

We start from the KPI an executive owns, not from the technology — then work back to the decisions, data and agents that move it.

Our delivery methodology
  1. 1 · Outcome & KPI Trustworthy AI at scale Model accuracy and drift · quarantine resolution · time to deploy
  2. 2 · Value-chain domain Every AI decision Network, care, fraud, pricing and more
  3. 3 · Decisions Release or quarantine Promote, retrain or roll back a model
  4. 4 · Data Governed features Curated fabric data, features, predictions, review outcomes
  5. 5 · AI & agents Detect, isolate, improve Anomaly models and confidence scoring; agents run the MLOps loop
  6. 6 · Governance & adoption Human in the loop Policy thresholds, model registry, documented for AI regulation
  7. 7 · Measured value Safer, faster AI Fewer bad decisions from bad data; quicker model releases

The problem

AI is only as good as the data it runs on

Operators feed billions of usage, network and billing records into models every day. Without a governed processing layer, errors spread faster than people can catch them.

Bad records travel far

A malformed CDR or duplicate charge reaches billing, assurance and dashboards before anyone reviews it.

Models without guardrails

Scores arrive without confidence thresholds, quarantine rules or a human in the loop for edge cases.

Models drift quietly

Retraining is manual and irregular, so accuracy decays as products, tariffs and fraud patterns change.

Our approach: run anomaly detection and quarantine as part of the data pipeline, with confidence thresholds set by policy, people reviewing what is held back, and outcomes feeding retraining.
How it works

Detect, isolate, predict, improve

CORTEX scores records as they move through the fabric, routes them by policy and keeps model performance visible.

The agent squad

Six agents run the model operations; data science owns thresholds, approvals and retraining sign-off.

Anomaly Detector Agent
Pattern analyser
ML-based anomaly detection on every record, flagging outliers and data-quality issues in real time.
Quarantine Agent
Risk isolator
Isolates suspicious records for review so bad data does not reach downstream systems and analytics.
Prediction Agent
Forecasting engine
Forecasts revenue, churn, usage and trends with governed ML models.
Fine-Tuning Agent
Model optimiser
Retrains models on reviewed outcomes and new data, with performance tracked per version.
Feature Agent
Data enricher
Extracts and engineers features from raw usage, billing and network data.
Insight Agent
Intelligence generator
Turns model outputs into prioritised, explained insights for business teams.

What the demo data shows

Ten production models run with accuracy around the 0.9 mark, and recall trails precision — so some true anomalies still slip through. Suspected duplicates, blacklist matches and device-fingerprint mismatches are the top reasons records are quarantined, and a meaningful share of quarantined records is rated critical.

Where we would act first
  1. Set confidence thresholds per decision, not one threshold for every model.
  2. Route critical quarantine items to named reviewers with an SLA.
  3. Feed review outcomes back into retraining and drift monitoring.
What a pilot would prove

One model released under governance — registry entry, drift monitoring and documented human oversight — ready for an AI-regulation review.

What operators get from governed AI processing

Capabilities, not promises: model targets and thresholds are set with your teams during the pilot.

Cleaner downstream data

Records outside policy are held back before they reach billing, assurance or reporting.

Trusted scores

Every prediction carries a confidence score, a model version and an audit trail.

Models that keep up

Reviewed outcomes feed retraining, and performance is tracked per model and version.

Reusable AI services

Models are served through APIs that other accelerators and agents call.

Getting started

From pilot to production

We usually start with one data flow — for example usage records into billing — and one or two models.

Step 1

Discovery

Pick the data flow and decisions to protect; agree thresholds, quarantine rules and reviewers.

Weeks 1-2
Step 2

Pilot

Deploy anomaly and quarantine agents on the flow, stand up the review queue and model monitoring.

30-45 days
Step 3

Scale & run

Add flows and models; run MLOps and AgentOps under our managed service if you choose.
